Mr. Robert A. Ford, 63, of 5207 Jones Road, Owensboro, died Saturday, May 3, 2003, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born April 21, 1940, of Elvis and Gertie Uzzle Ford in Muhlenberg County. He was a truck driver for First Class Service.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy and Johnny Ford, one sister, Artie Woodward.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Linda S. Ford of Owensboro, two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert Keith and Jaime Ford, and Brenton L. and Tara Ford all of Owensboro. Four grandchildren, Caitlin, Erin, Payton, and Alyson Ford; one sister and brother-in-law, Laverne and Bobby Alvey of Madisonville, one brother and sister-in-law, Virgil and Gail Ford of Owensboro, one aunt, Grace Goodman of Owensboro, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church, visitation will be 12:00 till 8:00 PM Monday and after 8:30 AM Tuesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be 5:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemeter
