Robert James Davis, 70, of Owensboro passed away Monday, October 16 with his family by his side. Mr. Davis was born May 17, 1947 in Spencer County, Indiana to the late James H. Davis and Mary Ravalee Wilson Davis. Robert loved fishing, riding horses, gardening, and watching old John Wayne Movies. He had a special affection for his dog, Buddy.
Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Bowman.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Tina Davis; sons, Brad and Chad Davis; former wife and mother of the children, Thelma Campbell; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one niece and nephew; a host of aunts and cousins.
Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Father Bradley officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Rockport, Indiana. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM to time of service at the funeral home.
