Robert Lee Daily

Robert Lee Daily, Jr. 52, of Owensboro, passed away Monday, June 18, 2012 surrounded by family at his sister's home. He was born on April 7, 1960 to Robert and Joan Daily. Rob graduated from Daviess County High School in 1978 where he had been a member of the cross country team. Rob worked at Whirlpool in Evansville before joining the United States Air Force. He was also an auto mechanic both as a trade and as a hobby. Rob loved all sports and was an avid NASCAR and UK basketball fan. He loved spending time with family and was a friend to everyone. Rob was preceded in death by his mother Joan Hamilton Daily and a brother Joseph Steven Daily.

Robert is survived by his father Robert Lee Daily Sr. of Maceo; three sisters Janet M. Daily of Evansville IN, Sandy Daugherty (John), and Cindy Huston (David) both of Owensboro; 9 nieces and nephews Brandon, Morgan, and Camille Anderson; Ricky and Dexter Payne, Amanda Phelps; Joseph Daily II; Haley and Matthew Huston; and several great nieces and one great nephew.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 21 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 12:00 noon Thursday at the funeral home.
