Robert Joseph Brown

Robert J. "Bobby" Brown, 72, of Owensboro died Monday, March 3, 2008 at the Bon Harbor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born November 27, 1935 in Evansville, Mr. Brown was the son of the late Virgil and Beatrice Burke Brown; was retired from General Electric and was a member of St. Stephen Cathedral.

He is survived by his brother, Donald (and Brenda) Brown of Bluffton, SC; nieces, Leslie C. (and Richard) Maynard of Lancaster, OH and Laura C. (and Ryan) Carpico of Somerset, OH; great-nieces and nephew, Sophia, Gabriel, and Lorenzo Carpico and Olivia Maynard; and special friends, Margie Hill and Helen Miles both of Owensboro.

Services are 12 noon Thursday, March 6, 2008 at St. Stephen Cathedral with Father John Vaughan officiating followed by burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery. Visitation will be at Glenn Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
