Robert Anthony Brooks

Robert Anthony ''Tony'' Brooks, 44, of 333 Industrial Dr., Owensboro, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2004, at his home. He was born in Nelson Co., Ky. and had worked at Modern Welding Co. for a number of years. He was a member of Walnut Memorial Baptist Church, was an Oakland Raider football fan, enjoyed collecting football cards, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving is his wife of 9 years, Penney Christian Brooks, three daughters, Hannah Brooks and Heidi Brooks, both of Hartford, and Cassidy Brooks of Owensboro, two sons, Hugh Brooks of Owensboro, and Phillip Brooks of Nashville, Tn., and a stepson, Blake Lambert of Owensboro, his parents, Robert & Doris Brooks of Hartford, his grandparents, Edith Brooks and Margie B. Johnson, both of Bardstown, Ky., a granddaughter, Cameron Lanham of Owensboro, a sister, Pat Bobinchort of Pennsylvania, and two brothers, Kevin Brooks of Port Charlotte, Fl. and Chris Brooks of Louisville, Ky.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 A.M. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00-6:00 P.M. Sunday and after 9:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Tony Brooks Memorial Fund, c/o Penney Brooks, 2225 Berkshire Dr., Owensboro, Ky. 42301.
