Robert Anthony Bickett

April 20, 1982 — March 21, 2008

Robert Anthony Bickett, 25, left the company of his family and friends on Friday, March 21, 2008. He was known as a fun-loving, big hearted, carefree and strong willed individual that was always the life of the party, and someone who marched to the beat of his own drum. Robert always had a story to tell, a smile on his face and a sparkle in his eye. He was a great son, brother and companion to his family. He was also devoted to his circle of friends at O'Bryan's Bar and Grill. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Alphonsus Parish; an involved member of the community; a certified welder and service technician employed at Ward Implement.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Dennis Anthony Bickett; grandmothers, Kathleen Ann Bickett and Joyce Hayden Riney; uncle, Patrick Allen Bickett; and aunt, Cindy Warren Bickett.

Survivors include his mother, Diane Riney Bickett of Owensboro; brother, Brad Bickett of Owensboro; sister, Dana Bickett of Nashville, TN; longtime girlfriend, Jamie Edge of Owensboro; father, Ricky Gerard Bickett of Island, KY; grandparents, Robert C. Riney, Jr. and Martha Drochter Riney of Owensboro; aunts and uncles, Tony and Kim Bickett of IL; Shirley and Mike Warren of MS; Diane Bickett of Owensboro; Gail and Brett Kight of Utica; Julie Bickett of Calhoun; Brenda and Shane Holinde of Bowling Green; and Brenda and Mike McCarty of Calhoun; and several cousins.

Services are at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church with Father Gary Hayes officiating followed by burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2008 and after 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Prayers will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening.
