Robert G. Berrong

Robert G. Berrong, 53, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born February 16, 1963 in Henderson Co. Robert had worked at the Rayloc and was of the Catholic faith. He enjoyed grilling, raising a garden, working in the yard, and hunting. Robert loved his dogs, Sandy, Wilbur, and Spooky, also loved helping people. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry Berrong in 2009 and Mary Berrong in 2012, and three brothers, William Henry Berrong in 1966, Randall Berrong in 2010, and Steve Berrong in 2011.

Surviving are his wife of 19 years, Denise James-Berrong, his daughter, Kayla James of Owensboro, three brothers, Roger Berrong and wife Nancy of John's Island, S. C., Terry Berrong and wife Judy of Henderson, and Bruce Berrong and wife Cindy of Cairo, KY, his mother-in-law, Jennie James of Owensboro, a sister-in-law, Mary Todd and husband Chris of Owensboro, and a brother-in-law, Bill James and wife Debbie of Owensboro.

Services will be Noon Thursday, May 12, at St. Martin Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
