Robbie Nell Jones

Robbie Nell Jones, 84, of Owensboro, passed away May 2, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born September 29, 1932 in Muhlenburg County to the late Roy Brothers and Flossie Groves Miller. Robbie was a member of First General Baptist Church for over 60 years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping and more recently, bingo. Robbie was a great cook, enjoyed gospel music and loved her family dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 60 years, Gaylen L. Jones and step-father, B.J. Miller.

Robbie is survived by her children, Rhonda (Jeff) Durham, Kaye (Steve) Curry, Mike (Lois) Jones; grandchildren, Carrie (Dave) Gerkin, Ryan Curry, Jenny (Jason) Koger, Matt (Katie) Curry, Michael (Tyler) Daugherty; step-grandchildren, Bethanie Durham, Jeffrey (Jamie) Durham, Jeremy (Amber) Moore, Ashley (Brad) Atherton, Will (Cristina) Ashby, Jackie (Billy) Rogers; nine great-grandchildren, ten step-great-grandchildren and her beloved furry four-legged companion, Pixie Gail.

Services will be 12:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
