Rita Marie Crowe Rice

Rita Marie Crowe Rice, 57, of Owensboro, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Born December 8, 1960 in Owensboro, to the late Charles (C.W.) and Mary Mildred Goins Pinkston. She loved spending time with her family, and enjoyed camping and watching wrestling. Rita worked many years as a CNA.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Dale Rice Sr.; sisters, Debbie Logsdon and Patricia Jones; and brother, Charles Pinkston.

Rita is survived by her son, Roger (Autumn) Rice Jr.; daughters, Shelinia (Bobby) Duncan and Brandie (Chad) Sallee; sisters, Holly Carol, Linda Brown, Beverly Brown, Meri (Matt) Gray; brothers, Jody Goins and Orville (Teresa) Crowe; grandkids, Taylor Howard, Jessica Rice, Adam Mauzy, Kaleb Duncan, Jasmine Mauzy, Hannah Rice, Savannah Duncan, Kenzie Duncan, Hunter Rice, Braisyn Sallee, and MaeLeigh Duncan; and many nieces and nephews. She thought of Seth Hall and Allison Hall as her grandkids.

Services will be 12 noon, Thursday, January 11, 2018, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be Wednesday 3pm to 8pm and Thursday 9am to 12pm at the funeral home.
