Rick M. Hiten, 50, of 712 Daviess St., Owensboro died Dec. 30, 2002 at Hermitage Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Danville, Ill.
He was the owner of E.Y.S., Inc. in Owensboro, was a former plant manager of Ky. Electronics, former Community Development Specialist with G.R.A.D.D., former Rehabilitation Manager for the Owensboro Metropolitan Planning Commission, and was a past director of Diversified Management, Inc. He was a licensed pilot enjoyed scuba diving, British Sports cars, and collecting toys and firearms. He was a Certified Property Manager in Kentucky. He received his Master's Degree in Public Affairs from Southern Illinois University.
He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Robin Whitworth Hiten, 3 Stepdaughters, Samantha L. Stinnett, Jennifer T. Stinnett, & Rachel Ann Stinnett, all of Owensboro. Also his grandmother, LaVone Johnson of Danville, Ill., 1 Brother, Randy Hiten of Danville, Ill., & 1 Sister, Melody Sheehan of Springfield, Ill.
Funeral services will be held January 2, 2003 at 2:30 P.M. at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel in Owensboro. Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home.
