Richard Dale Roberts

Richard Dale Roberts, 49, of Nashville, Tn., formerly of Owensboro, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. and was employed as a Banquet Manager for the Radisson Airport Hotel in Nashville. He enjoyed working with computers, cooking, watching American Idol, raising a vegetable garden, landscaping, and bowling. He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Russell Roberts on August 26, 2006 and a sister, Karen Sue Roberts in 1952.

Surviving is his mother, Margie Roberts of Owensboro, two sisters, Shirley Fuller and fianc James Thomas and Cathy Alford and husband Steve, all of Owensboro, three brothers, Billy Roberts, Mike Roberts and wife Angie, and Larry Roberts, all of Owensboro, his best friend, Jay Louviere of Nashville, his extended family, Karron Garrett and Reva Tedrick, both of Owensboro, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and soon to be great great nephew.

Services will be 12:00 P.M. Thursday, March 27, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 9:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
