Richard D. Heyne, Jr., 72, of Hartford, passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012, at his home. He was born on March 12, 1940 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Richard D. and Mabel Eads Heyne, Sr. He was retired from Glenmore Distillaries and enjoyed hunting, fishing, his horses and dogs, spending time with his grandchildren, and helping others. Richard was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Ella Faye Heyne, three sons, Terry Bruner of Hartford, David Wayne Bruner and wife Peggy of Hartford, Bryan Heyne and wife Sue of Owensboro, a daughter, Karen Fleming and husband Jim of Owensboro, 12 grandchildren, Jessica, Raven, and Jake Fleming, Brittney Bruner, Lee Bruner II, Devin, Lucas, Aerial, Ruby, and Shayla Bruner, Kimberly Mattingly, and Carly Crawford, 12 great grandchildren, a sister, Michelle Wiggins and a brother, Doug Heyne, both of Cincinnati.
Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
