Richard Milton Graves, 75, of Owensboro, died Sunday, August 11, 2013 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Richard was born in Willard, Missouri to the late Ilia and Nadine (Wilson) Graves. He was a teamster and had worked for Haas and Colonial Bakeries before moving to Owensboro where he retired after 6 years as a salesman for Carpets Unlimited. He was of the United Methodist faith, loved flower gardening specializing in beautiful roses, and spoiling his granddaughter.
Surviving is his wife, Marilyn (Stout) Graves, his children, Cynthia Wilkerson, Richard (Marcia) Graves, James (Judy) Posch and Christina (Bryan) Jennings, all of Owensboro, Doug Graves of Arkansas, Rachel Graves of Illinois, and several grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with private memorial services. Online condolences may be expressed at www.glennfuneralhome.com.
