Richard Wayne Brown

Richard Wayne Brown, 76, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday September 15, 2025, at his home. He was born April 27, 1949, in Belle Plaine, Kansas to the late Clyde and Maxine Schwyhart Brown.

Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Doris Brown; and a son, Rick Brown.

Wayne is survived by his wife of 19 years, Connie Brown; Daughter, Samantha Heinlin; sisters, Betty (David) Lorenz and Donna Voss; brother-in-law, Michael W. (Leigh Ann) Nantz; sister-in-law, Lisa (Mark) McCoy; nephew, Scott (Katy) Schultz; niece, Stephanie Voss (William Tanner); and a daughter-in-law, Kendra Walls.

The funeral service for Wayne will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2025, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be held Friday from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
