Richard Aud

Richard Glenn Aud, 57, of Owensboro, passed away May 20th, 2018 at home with family by his side, after a long battle with cancer. Ricky was born on Aug. 5th, 1960, the son of the late Paul Michael Aud and Mary Lois Coomes Aud. He was a member of St. Stephens Cathedral.

Ricky was a graduate of Owensboro Senior High School; he was a Veteran of the United States Army and was stationed overseas in Germany. He was a big fan of UK basketball, NASCAR racing and old western movies.

Ricky is survived by his brother, David Aud, Sisters; Karen Aud, Janice (Jeff) McCarthy, Rebecca (Robin) Roberts, all of Owensboro, and Patricia (Mark) Mullins of Chattanooga, TN; Six Nieces and Nephews; Lori Bridges(Jared), Scott (Tiffany) Mullins, Jennifer Goetz, Lindsay McCarthy, Adam McCarthy and Casey McCarthy, twelve great-nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the Hospice workers, who were loving caregivers to Ricky. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Hospice of Western KY. 3419 Wathen's Crossing, Owensboro, KY 42301.

Funeral mass will be 12:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24th, 2018 at St. William Catholic Church in Knottsville, KY where visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in St. William Catholic Church Cemetery. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
