Reta B. Williams, 87, of Owensboro, passed away Saturday, December 12, 2015 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born May 9, 1928 in Livermore, KY to the late Clyde and Irene Brown.
Reta retired from Ken-Tron. She was a talented quilter, an avid UK fan, and enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and Old Westerns.
Reta was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas F. Williams; a sister, Kathryn Fulkerson; and a sister-in-law Jonnie Vee Brown.
She is survived by her son, Doug (Doris) Williams; daughter, Angela (John) Frasier; and two brothers, James Lewis "Dewey" (Lavada) Brown of Livermore, KY and Ford Brown of Owensboro; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be at 10 AM Monday, December 14 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Travis Farris will officiate. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-6 PM Sunday and after
9 AM Monday at the funeral home.
