Rebecca `"Becky" Smith

Rebecca "Becky" Smith, 63, of Philpot, passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. She was born February 6, 1955 in Daviess Co., KY. Becky had been a teacher at College View Middle School and was a member of St. Williams Catholic Church. She graduated from Western Kentucky University where she received her Master's degree in education. Becky was an avid reader, loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, and was a very loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking for them and also making their wedding cakes with her mother. Becky was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Jo Smith on March 11, 2017 and a great nephew, Nathaniel Meyering Smith.

Becky is survived by her father, Raymond "R.M." Smith of Philpot, twin daughters, Stephanie Falloway and husband Benji of Lexington and Christina Booth and husband Nick of Alpharetta, Georgia, eight grandchildren, Langston Falloway, Bennett Booth, Nolan Falloway, Bailey Booth, Preston Falloway, Davis Booth, Emersun Falloway, and Abigail Booth, two brothers, Bobby Smith and wife Connie of Owensboro and Todd Smith and wife Carmen of Houston, Texas, several aunts and uncles, two nieces, Tiffany Ashley and Erin Smith, and one nephew, Josh Smith.

Services will be Noon Friday, April 13, at St. Williams Catholic Church with entombment following in Resurrection Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday with prayers at 5:00 P.M. and from 9:00-11:00 A.M. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
