Reba C. Manaway

Reba C. Manaway, 76, of Owensboro, passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Muhlenburg Co., Ky. to the late James Allen & Fannie Lee Brown Willis. She was retired from the General Electric Co. after 38 years in the Design & Engineering Lab. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Ladies Auxilary of the Disabled American Veterans. She loved people and enjoyed helping them out in their time of need. She also enjoyed Nascar and U. K. basketball. She also resided at the Continental Country Club in Wildwood, Fl. for a number of years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh G. Manaway on July 9, 1985 and a son, Allen Cameron on Jan. 24, 2006.

Surviving is a son and his wife, Bill & Ruth Cameron of Owensboro, a daughter-in-law, Shirley Cameron of Owensboro, two grandchildren, Coy Allen Cameron of Texas and Stephanie and her husband Terry Sadlowski of St. Charles, Il., two step grandchildren, Jeremy Young of Lexington, Ky. and Elaine and her husband Doran Metzger of Elizabethtown, Ky., and two great grandchildren, Jeremy Cameron of Vincennes, In. and Monica and her husband Nathan Payne of Owensboro., and several brother and sister-in-laws which include Jerry & Janice Manaway of Owensboro, Dorothy & Bob Gonzales of Wildwood, Fl., Louise Crews of Merimee, Fl., and Bob Horn of Las Vegas, Nv.

Services will be at 11:30 A.M. Tuesday, April 18, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Monday and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ladies Auxilary of the Disabled American Veterans, 1530 McJohnson Ave., Owensboro, Ky. 42303.
