Raymond M. Wright, 74, of Owensboro, KY, died Tuesday, February 17, 2009, at the Hillside Villa in Madisonville. He was born August 21, 1934, to the late William and Ilnnoria Ward Wright in Best, TX. He enjoyed hiking, traveling, listening to music, watching TV, and being with his family, and Betty's family.
He was preceded in death by a son, Raymond Arthur Wright, two sisters, Mary Boen and Donia Nelian.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Betty Skinner Wright; three daughters, Shelia Stenberg and her husband, Russel of Osceola, NE, Patricia Heerten and her husband, Tim of Tryon, NE, and Linda M. Wright of Grand Island, NE; eight grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Wright and his wife, Anna Maria of Roseville, CA, and Mike Martin of Roseville, CA; several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Glenn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
