Raymond J. Morris

Raymond J. Morris, 69, of 1835 W. 7th St., Owensboro, died Monday, March 11, 2002 at his home. The Daviess County native was retired from Owensboro Brick and Tile Company where he was a truck driver for 30 years. He was a member of the Full Gospel Tabernacle and enjoyed gardening, gospel music and attending church.

He was preceded in death by a son, Wayne Morris in 2000.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Nellie Morris; two sons, Timmy Morris of Lewisport and Tom Morris of Owensboro; two daughters, Sheila Kelley of Owensboro and Mary Lucille Underwood of Owensboro; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and a brother, Clifton Morris of Owensboro.

Funeral services are 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2002 at the Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 2-8 P.M. on Thursday and after 9 A.M. on Friday.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Hospice Association.
