Raymond Leon Kessenger, 65, of Owensboro, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at the Owensboro Center. He was born in Stanford, Montana to the late William H. and Barbara Elizabeth Tindle Kessenger, Sr. Leon was a carpenter and a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was also preceded in death by four brothers, William H., James D., Howard L. and Ernest W. Kessenger.
Surviving are a son, Ray Kessenger of Owensboro and a daughter, Theresa (William) Poore of Livermore, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, five brothers, Frankie, Johnny, Ricky, Wayne, and Rocky Kessenger, three sisters, Linda Shouse, Diana Keown, and Sophie Aubrey, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be private. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory are in charge of arrangements.
