RayEtta Robbins

RayEtta (Voyles) Robbins, 77, of Lewisport, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born May 12, 1938 in Hancock Co. to the late Casper and Maudie McDaniel Voyles. She was a homemaker and business partner, having helped her husband in several of their businesses including Pacific Coast Testing and G.R. Construction Management. She also had been involved in real estate. RayEtta loved spending time with her family and was very supportive of her grandchildren. She enjoyed raising flowers, watching hummingbirds, and was very crafty and was a good seamstress. She was a good cook and loved cooking for her family. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Basil, Walter, and Corville Voyles, and a great grandson, Nicholas Rose, Jr.

RayEtta is survived by her husband of 28 years, Charles "Gene" Robbins, a son, Greg (Angela) Rose of Vacaville, CA, three daughters, Sandie (Tom) Rose of Martinez, CA, Brenda (Doug) Stracener of Searcy, Ark., and Melinda Robbins of Tucson, AZ, five grandchildren, Bryan Rose and Megan Rose, both of Vacaville, Nicholas (Amber) Rose of Redding, CA, James Rose of Martinez, and Ashly Stracener of Searcy, three great grandchildren, Jonnethon, Victoria, and Thomas Rose, a brother, Casper (Brenda) Voyles, Jr. of Hatfield, IN, and two sisters, Phyllis (Tom) Roemer of St. Charles, Missouri and Loretta (Chester) Rather of Owensboro.

The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 12, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with entombment following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 12 Noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
