Randy Wigginton

Randy Wigginton, 38. of Owensboro passed away Sunday, October 10, 2010 at his home. Born in New Orleans, LA on June 6, 1972, he was the son of the late Donald and Bonnie Terrell Wigginton. Mr. Wigginton moved to Kentucky following Hurricane Katrina. He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan; enjoyed playing football and basketball; and loved animals. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Ronald Laiche.

Surviving are his son, Randy Wigginton, Jr. of Columbia, MS; brothers, Wilfert (and Pauline) Wigginton of Owensboro and Donald Wigginton, Jr. of Chalmette. LA; a sister, Karen Shannon of Gatlinburg, TN; and nieces and nephews, Jenna Laboy, Bonnie Wigginton, Curtis Wigginton, Erica Wigginton, and Michael Bouffanie.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2010 in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Father John Meredith officiating. Visitation will be from 5-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Special Olympics.
