Randall Ray Willis, 69, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday July 8, 2026 at his home. He was born August 7, 1956 in Daviess County to the late Lehman Willis and Thelma Howell. Randall was of the Baptist faith and retired from Hartz Construction Co. after 27 years. He was a graduate of Owensboro High School and enjoyed fishing, all sports and especially was an avid Pittsburg Steelers and U.K. basketball fan. Randall loved spending time with his family especially his daughter and his grandchildren and loved his dogs, Rondo and Ollie. He was also preceded in death by a brother, David Willis and his dog, Rondo.
Surviving was his daughter, Kelly Willis of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Trevor Willis (Ashley), Ethan Stewart, and Kaelon Stewart, and two special bonus grandchildren Christopher and Jalynn Smith, all of Owensboro; a great granddaughter, Aubrie Rose of Owensboro; and four brothers and sisters, Mark Howell (Tyler) of Cleveland, Tennessee, Jimmy Howell (Patti) of Owensboro, Connie Dodson (Ty) of Owensboro, and Tammy Shoop (Jimmy) of Kettering, Ohio.
A memorial service will be Noon Tuesday, July 14, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be after 10 AM Tuesday at the funeral home.
