Randall Lee Hendricks, 74, of Owensboro, passed from this earth on Thursday, August 04, 2005, after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Blanche Dennison Hendricks; a sister, Margaret Paxton, and a brother, Lawrence (Junior) Hendricks, all of Central City.
He retired from the Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (A&P) after 33 years of service. He was also employed by Larrys Key Market, Wyndalls Foodland and The Teachers Aid, Inc.
He was a member of the Parrish Avenue Baptist Church. He loved coaching and playing softball, golf, NASCAR, baseball, UK basketball and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Willadean (Deanie) Hendricks; one daughter, Tonya (Steve) Lewis; two sons, Rod (Ruth Ann) Hendricks and Terry (Linda) Hendricks, all of Owensboro. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Amber and Heather Hendricks and Allison, Joseph and Alivia Lewis; five great-grandchildren, Brendan Hendricks, Ryleigh Arvin, Keylen Winstead, Krislon Talbott and Tyren Frazier.
Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 PM Friday and after 10:00 AM Saturday at the funeral home.
