Randall Lee Dantic

Randall Lee Dantic, 62, of Owensboro passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born July 8, 1948 in Owensboro, he was a graduate of Owensboro High School; had worked for W.R. Grace Paper Mill; and was a member of Breckenridge Street United Methodist Church. Mr. Dantic's favorite pastime was fishing and watching baseball. He was preceded in death by his father, Irvin Lee Dantic.

He is survived by daughters, Summer Lee Dantic of Clinton, IA and Lee (Danny) Hughes of Leitchfield; his mother, Georgia Cox Dantic of Owensboro; grandchildren, Nathan Rose, Marquette Walton, Linda Simpson, Adrianna Simpson, Dominic Hughes, Savannah Hughes, Daniel Hughes, and Davis Hughes; brothers, James (Myrna) Dantic of Owensboro and Tom (Idelisa) Dantic of Lithia, FL; nieces and nephew, Katy Dantic, Jamie (Julie) Dantic, Tamara (Drew) Boling, Leah Dantic , Andrea Dantic and Melissa Dantic; a sister-in-law, Jill Dantic.an aunt, Doris (Rev. Charles) Bennett; and a host of cousins.

Services are private with Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory serving the Dantic Family. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
