Ralph E. Ziegler

Ralph E. Ziegler, 80, of Owensboro, passed away November 10, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Ralph was born in Tell City on April 23, 1937 to the late Ralph O. and Evelyn Hartz Ziegler. Ralph was of the Catholic faith and attended St. Stephen Cathedral in Owensboro. Ralph served in the U.S. Navy and was the General Manager at Ponderosa Inc. He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, automobiles, travel and visiting historic sites.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Linda Hessig Ziegler; sons, Ted Ziegler (Susan), and Terry Ziegler (Sherrie); daughters, Denise Brooks (Dennis), Carrie Lee Boswell (Tommy), and Kimberly Carmon (Byron); 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.

Visitation will be from 2 until 5 pm Sunday November 12, 2017 at Owensboro Christian Church. Please use entrance E.

The committal service will be private.
