Ralph Curtis Greene

July 1, 1928 — February 7, 2006

Ralph Curtis Greene, 77, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, February 7, 2006. He will be warmly greeted by his loving wife Linda and daughter Belinda. Mr. Greene was born July 1, 1928 to William and Dorothy Greene in McHenry, KY. He was a World War II Veteran with the Armed Forces serving with the Military Police in 1946-1949. He was a graduate of Butler County High School and attended Western Kentucky University. He was an avid chess and checker player and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. All of his family and friends will truly miss the wonderful stories that he was famous for.

Besides his parents, wife and daughter, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Greene, Jr., Thomas Greene, Richard Greene and a sister Mildred Howard.

He is survived by his daughters Dena Jackson and her husband Paul of Chattanooga, TN, Bobbi Peach and her husband Darren of Owensboro; three granddaughters, Jamie, Amber and Niki; one great-granddaughter Brionna Lee; one brother, Jim Greene and his wife Jody of Arab, AL; one sister, Helen Tirey and her husband Norman of Muncie, IN.

Services will be 3:00 PM Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Alan Reifsnyder. Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery with military honors given by VFW Post 696.
