Rachel Jean Westerfield

Rachel J. Westerfield, 82, of Masonville, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2016 under the care of Hospice of Western Kentucky. She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Rachel was a loving and dedicated homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother and beloved caregiver to many. She was a sports fan, especially of the U.K. Wildcats and Indianapolis Colts.
Rachel was preceded in death by her in-laws, Allie C. and Katie Lee Westerfield and brother-in-law, Charles Kroekel.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Gordon Wayne Westerfield; six children, Pat Johnson and her husband, Curtis, Kenneth Westerfield and his wife, Nita, Glenn Westerfield, Bev Enders and her husband, Dave, Jerry Westerfield and his wife, Joy and Scott Westerfield and his wife, Danielle; twelve grandchildren, Michael Cox (Kim), Christina Muffett (Jason), Mason Westerfield (Rebecca), Keni Lyn Umstead (Andy), Ashley Rickard (Jackson), Derrick Fallaway, Baylee Long, Logan Westerfield, Courtney Westerfield, Collin Westerfield, Colby Westerfield and Katarina Barnwell; twelve great-grandchildren, Trevor Muffett, Sarah Muffett, Cameron Cox, Shelby Cox, Grant Westerfield, Silas Umstead, Cailyn Westerfield, Molly Umstead, Addison Fallaway, Lyla Rose Rickard, Macy Umstead and Baby Rickard; four great-great grandchildren, Elliot Hendricks, Paisley Muffett, Cooper Muffett and Oliver Muffett; and a sister, Trudy Kroekel.
The funeral service will be at 2 PM Monday, March 7 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with burial at Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will also be on Monday from 9 AM until time of service.
