Rachel Joy Trogden Harberson

Rachel Joy Trogden Harberson, 34, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born on August 14, 1976 in Henderson Co., KY. She was a member of Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church and had worked as a counselor at the Mary Kendall Home. She was a 1994 graduate of Apollo High School and a 1998 graduate of Brescia University. Rachel was very talented artistically, loved sunflowers and shopping, and especially loved her children very much. Rachel will be donating some of her organs to hopefully help save the lives of other people in need.

Surviving are her children, daughters, Avery N. Trogden of Owensboro and Allison V. Wright of Utica, a son, Austin T. Harberson of Rumsey, her parents, Nadine and Gary Trogden of Owensboro, a sister, Bridget G. Trogden and husband Dewayne Lawson of Macon, GA, a brother, David M. Trogden of Indianapolis, IN, a nephew, Jacob P. Lawson of Macon, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, May 14, at Sts. Joseph and Paul Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Friday at Sts. Joseph and Paul Parrish Hall (4th and Bolivar) with prayers at 6:30 P.M. Visitation on Saturday will be after 10:30 A.M. at the church.
