Rachel Leibfreid Goyne

Rachel Leibfreid Goyne, 89, of Westminister Terrace, Louisville, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2006 at Westminister Terrace. She was born in Daviess Co., Ky. to the late William & Verna Mae Stewart Leibfreid. She was a former member of First Baptist Church and was presently of the Presbyterian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Goyne in December 1971.

She is survived by two daughters, Brenda & husband Fred Duke and Sylvia Jones, and a son Gary & wife Leslie Goyne, all of Louisville, two brothers, Donald Leibfreid of Owensboro and Jimmy Leibfreid of Dade City, Fl., two sisters, Barbara Roach and Betsy Guffey, both of Owensboro, and three grandchildren, Jennifer Gray, Ashlie Goyne, and Blake Jones.

Services will be at 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, May 17, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
