Rachel Lee Webber Basham

June 15, 1931 — February 17, 2004

Rachel Lee Webber Basham, 72, of Maceo, died at 9 P.M., Thursday, February 17, 2004 at the Rudd Heart and Lung Center at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born June 15, 1931, the life long resident of Maceo was of the Baptist faith and retired from General Electric/MPD after more than 40 years service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sim and Cora Webber.

She leaves behind a daughter, Sharon Butler and grandson, Jason Butler, both of Owensboro; a sister, Bessie Webber Hight of McAllen, TX; and a large extended family of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services are 3 P.M. Saturday, February 21, 2004 at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in the Webber Family Cemetery in Yelvington. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. on Friday and after 12 noon on Saturday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Maintenance Fund, Webber Family Cemetery c/o Sharon Butler, 3313 Old Mill Lane, Owensboro, KY 42303.
