R. W. Bryant

Mr. R. W. Bill Bryant, 83, of 5078 Jack Hinton Road, Philpot, died Wednesday, October 11, 2006, at his home. He was born April 19, 1923 to the late Robert Carl and Mary Lee Barnhill Bryant in Daviess County. He was retired as a Deputy PVA for the State of Kentucky, and was the longest living member of Dawson Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Coy Bryant on September 14, 1995.

Survivors include his son, Robby Bryant of Owensboro; his daughter, Mary Bryant and her husband, Mike Carollo of Cincinnati, OH; one granddaughter, Robin Bryant of Lexington; two nephews, Marty Laney and Scott Laney.

Services will be 2:30 PM Saturday, at Glenn Funeral Home with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be after 12:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dawson Baptist Church, 5880 Hwy 54, Philpot, KY 42366.
