Preston Geary

Preston W. Geary, 81, of Owensboro, passed away Thursday, January 29, 2026 at his home. He was born November 25, 1944 in Ohio County to the late Preston L. and Laura Wells Geary. Preston was retired from General Electric, enjoyed rebuilding computers and TV’s, and sports cars, especially his Mazda Miata MX-5. He also loved traveling to dog shows and showing his Dandie Dinmont Terriors.

Preston was also preceded in death by his wife, Eva Geary and siblings, Donna Johnson, Violet Burks, Sadie Geary, Estil Geary, and Leslie Geary.

Surviving are siblings, Glennie Geary and wife Barbara of Horse Branch, Betty Roy and husband Jim of Owensboro, and Shirley Woolen of Olaton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no services at Preston’s request. Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
