Phyllis Cauley West, 65, of Owensboro passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. Ms. West was born October 18, 1952 in Owensboro to the late Eldred "Tukey" Cauley and Betty Jo Jennings. She received her GED and then attended the Owensboro Business College where she received a business degree. Phyllis went on to work in the construction field in the office and later as a member of the Boilermaker Union. She loved playing slots online with some success and watching her grandson, Christian race go-carts. Phyllis had two special dogs, Jax and Bitsy. Being a good listener and being easy to talk to, many sought her out for counsel and advice.
Those left to cherish her memory include her companion of 19 years, Steve Farmer; daughters, Tina West Dowell and husband Roger and Kristie West; sons, William Bud West and wife Bonnie and Paul West and wife Lynn; twelve grandchildren which includes Christian West who lived next door and helped care for her; seven great grandchildren; ; brother, James Cauley (Anna) and sister, Tammy Swift (Joe).
Services will be noon, Tuesday February 6, 2018 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with visitation 10 till noon. Entombment will be in Rosehill Cemetery.
