Phyllis Dean Collignon

Phyllis D. Collignon, 88, of 2906 Dixiana Court, Owensboro, died Tuesday, September 4, 2001, at Hermitage Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Owensboro. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on March 19, 1913 the daughter of the late Louis B. and Lena VonVetter Speed.

She was a member of Sorgho Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond George Collignon, in 1977; a son, Raymond Louis Collignon in 2001; and a daughter, Carolyn Dolson, in 1988.

Survivors include six grandchildren, Kevin Owen of Owensboro, KY; Bryon Owen of Oswego, IL; Mary Annerino of Plainfield, IL; Kenneth Collignon, Steve Collignon, and Raymond Collignon all of Laurel, MD; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2001 at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Sorgho Baptist Church Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at Glenn Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 06, 2001 and after 9:00 a.m. Friday.
