Phillip Jerome Stallings

Phillip J. Stallings, age 52, of Owensboro passed away Monday, November 19, 2012 in Louisville, KY. He was born on June 23, 1960 in Daviess County, KY to the late Andrew and Mary Stallings.

Phillip provided for his family by working for the Owensboro Housing Authority. He and his family were parishioners at Blessed Mother Catholic Church in Owensboro and was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his granddaughter.

Aside from his loving parents Phillip is preceded in death by four brothers; Mike Stallings, Joseph Stallings, Henry Stallings and Patrick Stallings.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 29 years, Madonna Lynn (Costello) Stallings, his three sons; Justin Stallings, Nathan Stallings, and Austin Stallings and his granddaughter Kinsley Stallings. He is survived by four sisters; Theresa Daughtery of Greenville, KY, Carol Snyder of Owensboro, Mary Arnold of Owensboro and Iris Towery of Owensboro, one brother; Richard Stallings of Knottsville.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00AM on Saturday in the chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Fr. Richard Meredith conducting services. Interment will follow at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home on Friday and after 9:00AM on Saturday.
