Phillip Dennis Hardesty

Phillip Dennis Hardesty, 42, of 4238 Hayden Park Drive, Owensboro, died on March 10, 2003, at Owensboro Mercy Health System. He was born in Daviess Co., Ky. He was employed at Applied Industrial Technologies as an Account Manager and had worked there for 24 years. He was a member of the Immaculate Catholic Church, the Parish Men's Club and the Knights of Columbus Council #817. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, working crossword puzzles, and had a genuine love for the outdoors. He was a big fan of the University of Kentucky Wildcats basketball.
Hw as preceded in death by his Father, Thomas Dennis Hardesty in 1995.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Pamela Ross Hardesty, a son, Stephen Hardesty of Owensboro, and 2 daughters, Sarah & Mary Hardesty, both at home. Also he is survived by his mother, Margaret Hardesty of Owensboro, 7 brothers, Michael, Paul, Pat, Perry, & John Hardesty, all of Owensboro, Mark Hardesty of Denver, Colorado, & Tony Hardesty of Lewisport, Ky., and 4 sisters, Tina Hardy, Margie Matthis, Jeannie Best, & Nacy Hamilton, all of Owensboro, 7 Aunts & Uncles and 25 Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral services will be Thursday, March 13, at 2:00 P.M. at the Immaculate Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday and after 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculate Men's Club or to the St. Vincent DePaul Society, c/o Immaculate Catholic Church, 2516 Christie Place, Owensboro, Ky. 42301. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
