Phillip Byron Allen

Phillip Byron Allen Pudge, 54, of Owensboro, died August 28, 2005 at his home. He was born October 31, 1950 in Daviess Co. to the late Nancy B. French and Cecil P. Allen. He was a member of First Baptist Church and the Boilermakers Union. In his spare time he enjoyed Nascar, horse races, and spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia, and his sister, Nancy Parks.

Survivors include three daughters, Tammy Howard (and Tommy) of Hancock Co., Penny Pendleton (and George M.) of Owensboro, and April Allen (and Rodney Hays) of Owensboro; seven grandchildren, Bradley Pendleton, Erica Pendleton, Christian Moseley, Alyssa Beaver, Sidney Moseley, Schuyler Pendleton, and Journey Hays; one brother, Earl C. Allen of Owensboro, and one sister, Helen Bellamy of Owensboro.

Funeral services will be 2:30 Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at Glenn Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 30, 2005 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Hospice.
