Peyton Chance Gerteisen

Peyton Chance Gerteisen, 37 days, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born on March 14, 2011, he is the son of Jesse Gerteisen and Jeffrey Chad Holcomb. Peyton was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Bruce Burkeen and Lindberg Gerteisen and a great-great-grandfather, Albert Tichenor.

In addition to the parents, surviving are sisters, Bayliee Holcomb and Graycelynn Holcomb; grandparents, Darrin Gerteisen of Philpot, David and Samantha Dunn of Troy, TN, and Jeffrey and Sandra Holcomb of Owensboro; great-grandparents, Lana Burkeen of Gilbertsville, Betty Gerteisen and Gloria and Jim McClure of Owensboro; a great-great-grandmother, Marjorie Tichenor of Owensboro; and aunts and uncles, Molly Gerteisen and Lindy Gerteisen of Philpot, and Alex Moseley, Shaina Martin, Heath Holcomb, Jordan Holcomb, Jaylon Holcomb, and Amanda Holcomb all of Owensboro.

Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2011 in the Chapel of Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory where visitation will be from 10 a.m. till service time. Burial will be in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.
