Peggy Pope

Peggy Quinn Pope, 79, of Owensboro passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Heartford House. She was born January 3, 1939 to the late Hubert and Corinne Quinn. Peggy was a strong Christian woman who was raised in the Baptist faith. She was an avid reader who also loved cooking, gardening, the sun, and being outdoors. Peggy was a free spirit who made dear friends everywhere she went and loved her time in Richmond, Florida and Owensboro. She loved sharing a glass of wine with family and friends. Peggy enjoyed communicating with others through Facebook, where she reconnected with old friends and made new ones along the way. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Anne Lindsay Pickens of Owensboro, KY and Mila Dobnicker (Dale) of Cincinnati, OH; her son, Mason Pope (J.J.) of Brentwood, TN; her grandchildren, Katie and Elizabeth Pickens, Ryan and Michael Pope, Alex and Joey Kramer, Drew and Lindsay Dobnicker; her great grandson, Lincoln Pickens.
The graveside service will be 3PM Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Rosehill Elmwood Cemetery. Mary Shultz will officiate. A celebration of life will follow. There will be no public visitation.
