Peggy A. Oliver

Peggy A. Oliver, 72, of Owensboro, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. She was born in Owensboro to the late Edgar and Nellie Raymond Mason.
Peggy worked at General Electric for many years. She is fondly remembered as "Mamaw Peggy" by the many children she babysat through the years. She was a longtime member of Macedonia Baptist Church and former member of Hall Street Baptist. Peggy loved spending time with family, especially when attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Oliver; a daughter, Jennifer Allison ("Chaz") of Indianapolis, IN; sons, Jeff Oliver (Kim Mattingly) of Owensboro and John Oliver (Wendi) of Whitesville; grandchildren, Brittany Oliver (Zach Goatee), Dana Koller (Jordan), Rayce Oliver, Jett Oliver, Tyler Mattingly, Kenzie Mattingly, ADAN Jonathan L. Allison, U.S. Navy (Brittany Vittone), Christopher Allison and Bryson Oliver; 5 great-grandchildren; a sister, Jeannie Lloyd of Owensboro; and a brother, Butch Mason of Louisville.
The funeral service will be at 2 PM Monday, August 10 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Rev. Scott Ford will officiate. Burial will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Sunday from 1-6 PM and on Monday after 12 at the funeral home.
