Peggy Jo McNamara

Peggy Jo McNamara, 64, of Owensboro, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at her home. She was born on April 11, 1947 in Paducah to the late William Thomas and Blanche Scott McNamara. She was retired from the Daviess Co. School System having taught the 1st grade her entire career at Philpot and Country Heights Elementary Schools. She was of the Catholic faith. Peggy was also preceded in death by her sister, Suzanne McNamara in 1983.

Surviving are an Aunt and Uncle, Martha "Lady" McNamara of Vicksburg, Mississippi and Joseph "Son" McNamara, also of Vicksburg, several cousins including Carol Carney and husband Luther of Paducah, and numerous friends.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 18, at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. The committal service and burial will be at Maplelawn Park Cemetery in Paducah at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 3:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday and after 9:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
