Pauline S. Ferguson

Pauline S. Ferguson, 86, of Philpot, died Friday, March 8, 2002 at Heartland Villa in Lewisport. She was born in Daviess County, Kentucky on October 1, 1915 the daughter of Ben and Mary Culver Smith.

Mrs. Ferguson retired from the former Our Lady of Mercy Hospital and was a member of Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church, Legion of Mary and Altar Society. She was a Kentucky Colonel and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Chester Ferguson; three sons, Carroll C. Ferguson, Ben Harvey Ferguson and Michael J. Ferguson, all of Owensboro; a daughter, Lana Rae Crowe of Owensboro; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Catherine Bryant of Owensboro and Louise Scherm of Henderson.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2002 at Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church, officiated by Father Pike Powell. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2002 and after 8:30 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home. Prayers will be said at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
