Pauline Fenwick Faith, 96, of Owensboro, died Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in the community of Delaware in western Daviess County, a daughter of the late Elmer Clarence Hulsey and Maud Galloway Hulsey, Mrs. Faith loved to dance, at which she was most accomplished, enjoyed reading and playing cards, and her fondness of gardening focused on her roses. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Cumberland Presbyterian Church and attended Southside Church of Christ. Her career included Westinghouse, Ken-Rad, General Electric, and many years at the Dairy Drive In, known to generations of Owensboroans as the DDI. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy Delbert Fenwick and Charles Faith, an infant son, Randall Fenwick, her brothers, Wiley Hulsey, Charles Wendell Hulsey, Clarence Hulsey, Gerald Hulsey, and D.W. "Bill" Hulsey; and her sisters, Alta Moss, and Lucille Wahl.
Survivors include her son, Clarence Fenwick, and his wife Carolyn, of Owensboro; her daughter, Gayle Lauderdale, and her husband Gary, of Isle of Palms, SC; her grandchildren Jennifer Stinnett, Tonya E. Harper, Tara K. Simmer, and Tiffany L. Phillips; seven great-grandchildren, and her sister, Helen Ward.
Services are at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Glenn Funeral Home, where visitation will be from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. Sunday and after 8:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Meals on Wheels.
