Paula Catherine Cook Nolan, 38, of 1061 Haynesville Rd., Reynolds Station, passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2006 at Owensboro Medical Health System. She was born in Louisville and had worked as an accountant for the Alcoa Automotive Plant in Hawesville. She was of the Catholic faith, a homemaker, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, fishing, Nascar racing, and shooting pool. She was preceded in death by her father James E. Cook in April, 1987, her maternal grandparents, Joseph Paul & Rosa Catherine Milliner Clark, and her paternal grandparents, Emil & Rose Marie Sims Raymond.
Surviving is her husband, Gary Nolan, two sons, James Lee Lucas and Nicholas Paul Nolan, and a daughter, Brianna Nicole Nolan, all at home, her mother and stepfather, Christina A. Clark (Shirley) Taylor of Pleasant Ridge, a brother, Bobby Cook of Louisville, and a niece, Jodie Cook of Louisville.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 27, at the Glenn Funeral Home Chapel with burial following in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery in Ohio Co. Visitation will be from 2:00-8:00 P.M. Monday with prayers at 6:00 P.M. and after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at the funeral home
Memorial contributions may be made to an Educational Trust Fund for the children. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
