Paula Maria Taylor Higdon

Paula Maria Taylor Higdon, 57, of Owensboro passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the Owensboro Medical Health System. Born in Washington DC on December 23, 1953, she was a homemaker and attended St Stephen Cathedral. Mrs. Higdon loved music and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Taylor.

Surviving is her husband, Larry Higdon; a daughter, Kathleen (Erin) Romero of Owensboro; a son, Lawrence Higdon of Owensboro; her mother, Maria Taylor of Owensboro; grandchildren, Colton Romero and Peyton Romero; brothers, Mike Taylor and Rodney Taylor of Owensboro; and a sister, Roxanne Adkins of Owensboro.

Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at St Stephen Cathedral with Father John Vaughan officiating followed by burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 -6 p.m. on Saturday and after 1 p.m. on Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory.
