Paula Faye Carter, 61, of Owensboro passed away April 30, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Louisville. She was born December 12, 1954 in Daviess County to the late Paul and Elizabeth Creason Carter. Paula never met a stranger, she loved to talk with people and laugh. Her job with Live Answer Phone for over 30 years suited her well. Paula also served others through the Senior Volunteer Program and Hospice.
She is survived by her sisters, Sheila Cooper and husband Charlie, Sue Carter, and Renee Carman; brother, Bill Carter all of Owensboro as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A service will be held at 4:00 pm Wednesday, May 4 at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory with Bro. Jerry Carter officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 am till 4:00 pm. Interment will be at Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Hospice of Western Kentucky, 3419 Wathens Crossing, Owensboro KY 42301.
