Paul Robert Williams

Paul Robert Williams, 89, of Owensboro, passed away October 8, 2023.  He was born in Wayne County, IL. On May 3, 1934 to the late Guy and Flossie Greenwalt Williams.  Paul was a member of Owensboro Christian Church.  Many may recall him from the more than three decades that he owned and operated Office World in Owensboro, and later expanded to Evansville, IN.  While owning the office supply store, he also served as President of the National Office Machine Dealers Association.  When time allowed, he enjoyed traveling and an afternoon on the golf course. Paul served his country in the United States Army, where he spent time in Germany and earned the title Corporal.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Juanita Mahan and brothers, Guy Williams, Jr. and Dwight Williams, and his beloved dog, Palmer. 

Paul is survived by his children, Tim (Tara) Williams, Deana (Jim) Langford, and Susan Wahlstrom; grandchildren, Jennifer (Charles) Bates, Carina Wahlstrom, Rylee, Aiden, and Sydnee Williams; great-grandchild, Hannah (Jantzen) Emery; great-great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Brylee, and Faith Emery; nephew, Larry (Judy) Mahan and his many nieces and nephews; good friend, Lisa Mattingly and a host of friends he loved for many years.  

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at the Owensboro Memorial Gardens with Military Honors closing.
