Paul C. Wedding, 81, of Owensboro, died Thursday, April 10, 2008, at the Owensboro Medical Health System. He was born October 29, 1926 to the late Louis Patrick and Oma Hagan Wedding in Whitesville. He had worked at Hon Company for over 40 years. Paul was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 4th Degree of Knights of Columbus, and a volunteer for St. Vincent DePaul. He had been an officer in the United Steel Workers Union, and a member of Right to Life. He was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and enjoyed being with his family.

He was preceded in death by a son, James William Wedding in 1963.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mary Ann Wedding; his daughters, Theresa Nadeau of Pensacola, FL, Agnes (Scott) Church of Philpot, Maria (Rory) Miller of Island; his son, Paul G. Wedding of Indianapolis, IN; four grandchildren, Lindsay Nadeau, Molly and Trevor Church, Samuel Miller; six brothers and sisters, Sue Sapp of Owensboro, Louis Pat (Birdie) Wedding of Philpot, Charles W. (Theresa) Wedding of Whitesville, Mary Howard of Owensboro, Raymunda (John) Calhoun of Owensboro and James (Judy) Wedding of Poole, KY; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 11:00 AM Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial in Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday with prayers at 6:00 PM Sunday at Glenn Funeral Home. Visitation Monday will be after 9:00 AM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Right To Life, 1115 Tamarack Road, Owensboro, KY 42301.
